Shri Kaviraj Singh\, Founder & Secretary General\, INBA\, Ms. Vinakshi Singh\, Senior Advisor\, INBA\, delivered the welcome address\, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries\, speakers\, sponsors\, and participants for their unwavering support to INBA’s mission of advancing legal excellence and global collaboration. \nThe conference witnessed overwhelming participation from senior government officials\, Group Directors\, General Counsels\, In-House Counsels\, Senior Advocates of the Supreme Court of India\, Deans and Professors from leading law universities\, and hundreds of law students from across the country. A key objective of the event was to bridge the gap between academia and the profession by providing law students direct access to international law firms\, corporate legal departments\, and thought leaders for mentorship and career opportunities. \nThe academic sessions comprised five high-powered panel discussions on contemporary and globally relevant themes: \n\nCross-Border Mediation: Legal Recognition and Enforcement Challenges\nThe Challenges and Opportunities of International Trade Law in the Era of Globalization\nLegal Challenges of International Business Transactions and Cross-Border Disputes\nArtificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property: Ownership and Liability in AI-Generated Works\nThe Role of International Criminal Law in Addressing War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity\n\nEminent jurists\, practitioners\, and academicians deliberated on these pressing issues\, offering actionable insights and fostering cross-jurisdictional dialogue. \nThe evening culminated in the glittering 11th Annual INBA Awards Ceremony\, graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan\, Former Chief Justice of India\, as the Guest of Honour\, along with Shri Ajay Gupta\, Joint Secretary\, Department of Legal Affairs\, Ministry of Law & Justice\, Government of India\, Shri Kaviraj Singh and Ms. Vinakshi Singh. The awards recognized outstanding contributions across diverse segments of the legal profession\, honouring General Counsels and In-House Counsels from leading corporations\, distinguished lawyers in litigation\, corporate law\, IPR\, international arbitration\, and public service\, as well as law firms and young achievers who have set new benchmarks of excellence. \nSpeaking on the occasion\, Ms. Vinakshi Singh remarked\, “On this historic Constitution Day\, INBA remains committed to nurturing legal talent\, promoting the rule of law\, and strengthening India’s position in the global legal ecosystem.
