DESCRIPTION:The Indian National Bar Association (INBA) proudly celebrated Women Empowerment on March 30\, 2025\, with the launch of “The Phenomenal She” 7th Edition at the Constitution Club of India. This momentous occasion acknowledged and honoured exceptional women who have made a significant impact in their respective fields. \nThe concept of the program was initiated by Ms. Vinakshi Kadan Singh\, Senior Legal Advisor\, INBA\, and Advocate Supreme Court. The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Kaviraj Singh\, followed by the lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries\, including Hon’ble Former Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal\, President\, Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission\, Hon’ble Civil Judge (Jr. Division) Rupam Singh\, District Court Gurugram\, Shri. Kaviraj Singh\, Secretary General\, INBA\, and Ms. Vinakshi Kadan Singh\, Senior Legal Advisor\, and Advocate Supreme Court. \nINBA is working virtuously for the cause and social upliftment of women. The association strives to appreciate and acknowledge every contribution made by women from all professional areas or activities that are worth contributing to society as a whole and beyond her family. These women have managed multiple tasks and demonstrated excellence in their personal and professional lives. The very purpose of the book’s launch is to acknowledge women who have excelled in their fields despite all the difficulties\, to inspire and motivate other women to come out of their shell\, take a step forward\, and realize their dreams. \nThe book features women from diverse sectors who have demonstrated excellence in their personal and professional lives. Some of the notable women featured in the book include Justice Nand Prabha Shukla\, Additional Judge\, High Court of Allahabad\, Justice Manju Rani Chauhan\, Judge\, High Court of Allahabad\, Justice Sadhana Rani Thakur (Retd.)\, Chairperson\, UP Public Service Tribunal\, and Anita Shah Akella\, Joint Secretary\, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. \nINBA consistently works towards women empowerment through various initiatives\, including female start-up mentorship\, free legal aid\, gender equality\, legal right workshops\, and sexual harassment awareness in the workplace. The association extends its heartiest congratulations to all the women featured in the book and those who attended the event. INBA also acknowledges those who couldn’t attend due to unforeseen circumstances. “The Phenomenal She” 7th Edition is a testament to the incredible contributions women have made to society. Balakrishnan\, Former Chief Justice of India\, as the Guest of Honour\, along with Shri Ajay Gupta\, Joint Secretary\, Department of Legal Affairs\, Ministry of Law & Justice\, Government of India\, Shri Kaviraj Singh and Ms. Vinakshi Singh.
