Farmers Protest Amid 72th Republic Day

Introduction

The right spirit of independence is symbolized by Republic Day. Every year on January 26th India celebrates its republic day with splendidness.  Along with spectacular parades at including the common practices of the Indian national army and National Flag hoisting in various parts of the country. Thereafter, attaining independence from British rule, the new Indian constitution was drafted by the drafting committee guided by Dr.BR Ambedkar which came into effect on 26 January 1950 and renovated the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.  Due to this amid pandemic, this year India celebrated with a shortened program at Rajpath Delhi. And also, the parade had a short way, there were no chief guests, no children under 15 and above 65 were not allowed in the annual parade, and fewer soldiers in the army and navy contingents. For the first time, Rafale fighter jets took role in republic day and showcased its T-90 tank, the Samvijay electronic warfare system, and Sukhoi-30, MKI fighter jets on the Rajpath. A total of 32, Seventeen tableaux from States and union territories and 9 from different union ministries, 6 for defense arm and paramilitary forces took part in this year’s parade which describes the nation’s rich cultural heritage and economic progress. This year’s republic day has a distinct manner, besides this Covid-19 pandemic, the protesting farmer’s tractors parade organized in the national capital.  However, for the republic, the farmers rebelling against the center’s three farm laws pursue to center in the cold. This writing presents the facts behind the anger of Indian farmers who had prepared for the massive March today.  However, this farmer protesting is another great challenge because they both conjure and applaud the spirit of a Republic made of the people, not of government and power of the majority, but also the Constitutional inspections on it.

The chaos of Farmers tractors rally

Since 26th November 2020, we have been coming across farmers rioting against the new farm’s bills which were passed by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The main objective of this protest is well known to everyone I.e. revocation of all the three Farm Bills Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020 Legally ensure bordering price. On January 24, 2021,  the Delhi police officers permitted farmers to hold a 100-km tractor rally on Republic day and they had reached an agreement with the farmers on holding up the rally at restricted locations near the three bordering, Tikri, and Ghazipur. Today, on the occasion of Republic Day, the farmers initiated the tractors clashed with police, broke barricades, and stormed the Red Fort,  and the police reacted with tear gases and lathi charge. The protestors also caused extensive damage to the public property and many policemen also injured and protestors were arrested and killed. The farmers violated the predecided conditions of the parade which they had acknowledged with the Delhi police officers by entering into central Delhi. As per the terms of the agreement, farmers are supposed to remain in the adjoining areas of borders. The protesters began to rally from tiki arrives red fort through Nangloi. Police officers being involved in conflicts with farmers at many places, the cities were discontinued Traffic police regulating the movement of vehicles in the opinion of the presence of farmers at places of ITO, Red fort, Nangloi, Anand Vihar, Mukarba chowk and Akshardham.

The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi says, ”  Violence, not a solution, calls for repeal of farm laws” and he also said if anyone gets hurt, the damage will be inflicted on the country.

Conclusion

 The tractor rally indicates the completion of two months uproar against the center’s controversial farm laws by farmers camping at the New Delhi borders. The farmer’s leaders also decided to March on foot to parliament on February 1, 2021, the day the union budget is presented.
