Indian National Bar Association is India’s fastest growing voluntary Bar Association. It serves the Indian Legal Community through programs designed to educate and connect members, who are interested in improving the administration of justice and bettering Indian society.

Indian National Bar Association (INBA) is the country’s largest voluntary bar association. INBA is honoured to have more than 10,000 registered members, 25 different sections and 15 International chapters across the globe with more than 10 Indian Regional Forums.

INBA, in order to provide a transnational and global education experience to Indian students and lawyers, has also successfully organized various International Academic Tours to USA, UK, and Europe.

INBA intends to provide the Legal Community with networking opportunities, access to foreign law firms, corporate counsel and Universities, Legal Jobs, Law Books, Health and Insurance Packages and multiple other benefits to its members of the Indian Legal Community.

It act as premier body representing the interest of Indian Legal Community & to strive to provide several economic & social benefits that should accrue to them, act as a think tank for legal industry, reform the Indian Legal Systems leading to effective & quick justice for everyone.

Under the leadership of Secretary General, Sh. Kaviraj Singh and patronage of Dr. Subhash Kashyap, Late Shri. Ram Jethmalani Ji, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi and other eminent persons, INBA has undertaken various initiatives to bring effective and efficient changes in legislative framework for ease of doing business in India.

Further, INBA is focused on taking the Indian legal industry and its members to a higher platform. Representing the entire legal ecosystem in India, INBA is dedicated to expanding its member’s professional network and industry insight. When lawyers need to be heard, INBA is their voice.

In an endeavor to combat sexual harassment at workplace, INBA conducted and published its first edition of a survey on Sexual Harassment as Garima, Vol. 1. The Survey conducted by INBA has been applauded by reputed agencies such as LivelawIndian Express , First post,  LawratoAxomliveLenseye etc. Recently, INBA has also launched the 2nd edition of Sexual Harassment Survey and Delhi Police Survey. Since inception, INBA has organized over 200 legal events and awareness programs at national as well as international level. Recently INBA launched a handbook on White Collar Crime Survey on its 9th Annual International Conference. It was launched by Justice Andrew Bell, President Court of Appeal, NSW, Australia on November 26, 2019 at Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi.  On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 7 March every year INBA launched a book- The Phenomenal She featuring 100 leading women of the country to embrace female leadership.

About the Internship

Candidates with a track record of conducting inter-disciplinary research, and has exposure to academic writing, eager to learn and make an impact on public systems can apply.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Candidates who are in their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th year (of the 5-year integrated law course) or 2nd and 3rd year (of the 3-year law course).

The candidates should be well versed with MS- Word and possess basic legal research and drafting skills. You should have superior writing & oral communication skills.

International students must have a valid visa and recommendation letter from their Universities.
