Delhi HC will see Impleadment in suit filed by ISRA

Delhi HC by order dated 04/01 2018 allowed Super Cassettes Pvt. Ltd. and Saregama India Ltd. to intervene in a suit filed by Indian Singers’ Rights Association hereinafter named as ISRA. ISRa filed the instant suit against the hotels and restaurants of Delhi for permanent injunction restraining them from violating the rights of members of ISRA.

Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw while passing the order said “since legal issues still to be adduced may govern the said aspect, it is deemed appropriate to allow Super Cassettes Pvt. Ltd. and Saregama India Ltd. to intervene in the suits.” Hon’ble Justice directed both parties to file an affidavit instead of written statement at this stage of suit.

ISRA however opposed the impleadment of the two parties.
